Gigi Hadid is clearly backing one of this summer's biggest trends: crochet. Spotted out and about in New York the model styled out the stateside heatwave in a crochet polo shirt embroidered with flowers that is still available to buy for £35.99 from Mango.

The Spanish high street chain has gone big on crochet for summer, with this polo shirt joining a raft of beach bags, waistcoats, halter neck tops, bikinis and even earrings that have all been given the homespun treatment for the hot weather season.
