Zimmermann Is Doing Summer Better Than Any Other Brand

You may think that floral prints applied to cotton dresses, structured separates and an array of swimwear doesn't sound like the most groundbreaking of ideas when it comes to summer style. In the hands of Zimmermann, however, all of these elements are taken to new heights thanks to a combination of smart design details, beautiful craftsmanship and a whole load of celebrity fans. For 2024, more than ever, the brand is dominating the sunny season and convincing us that life might be just a little bit better if one had a wardrobe full of Zimmermann to play with.

Launched in 1991 by Australian sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann in Sydney, the label is renowned for its polished take on femininity, offering sophisticated silhouettes alongside more relaxed pieces, making for varied and versatile collections. Fellow Aussie Margot Robbie is a fan, alongside everyone from J.Lo to Sydney Sweeney, Gwen Stefani to Sienna Miller, proving that women with diverse personal styles are all attracted to the brand's aesthetic.

Most recently, Zimmermann has opened a new store in St. Barth, expanding its reach around the world. To celebrate the occasion, friends of the brand gathered for a weekend of festivities and, naturally, showcased some of the best summer outfits we've seen so far this season.

From Jourdan Dunn in a striking blue midi skirt with matching puff sleeve crop top to Bridgerton's Hannah Dodd (Zimmermann's new campaign star) in a glorious asymmetric dress, this line-up showed off the holiday wardrobe of dreams. There are short sets, with boxy shirts and meticulous embroidery, fabulous swimwear and mini dresses you could throw on over a bikini on the beach and wear straight to dinner.

Investment pieces they may be but, in a world where the need for more sustainable habits has never been more urgent, these are clothes to be treasured, worn year after year and, ultimately, enjoyed.
